The handicap professional

I am totally overwhelmed with this blogging business and feel totally retarded.  I just don't get it...at all.  I'm not sure exactly how to follow peoples blogs and this whole "ring" thing is confusing as hell.  More importantly however, I started a new sweater and I am not sure that I picked the right size.  I am actually following a pattern instead of creating my own out of Custom Knits by Wendy Bernard.  I choose the sweater because I like the collar a lot and the vintage Audrey Hepburn feel of it.  After seeing other people's projects on ravelry, some who complained of it coming out too big, I am at a crossroads.  I don't want it to be too big but the pics of it knitted in a small make the collar look significantly smaller and don't have the same vintage feel.  Anyone who has knitted a sweater knows how much work (and money) goes into this and how getting the right size and one that fits is key.  Moreover, frogging a sweater really might be one of the most disheartening chores ever.  What to do, what to do...  I'm also dying to start on my Elizabeth Zimmermann fair isle yoke sweater but promised myself I would try to do this one first.  And sew the arm on the other sweater I finished and actually block it this time.  Sheesh.  So much to do, so little time.  And I'm expected to work?!  I so wish I could teach the client's I work with how to knit, but alas the prison won't let me take in knitting needles... Ha ha.

So, I am a blogger now?

So, I am a blogger now?

Mostly, I set this up so I can document my creative endeavors.  Most notably knitting, hence the "ezknits" but also jewelry and from time to time drawings or paintings.  It will also give me a place to write, if I'm in the mood without
having to subject all my facebook friends to my ramblings.  I figure if you are here reading this you kind of know what you are in for.  And if not you will soon find out!

I finished a hat and some fingerless mittens the other day or what I like to call "mloves" (mitten/gloves).  I had to knit the top of the hat twice because my cat Vincent, at least I'm blaming Vincent
, ate two very large holes in it the day after I finished it the first time.
